Lawn Care Services
Shrub and Tree Ornamental Treatment
Pre-emergent weed control will be applied in late fall and early spring to prevent growth of perennial weeds. Flowerbeds, ornamental mulch beds, and tree rings will be serviced for weeds on a regular basis. This will either be done manually or with the use of herbicides that are not harmful to plants or foliage located within shrub or mulch beds. Insecticides and/or fungicides are an additional charge if needed.
Lawn Treatment
Annual chemical service for turf consists of seven applications including seasonal formulated fertilizer and broad-leaf weed control. Post-emergent herbicides will be carefully utilized as spot treatments during the growing season for control of weeds. An Organic Lawn Program is available on request. There may be a slight up charge for this service
Aeration
Aeration punches holes into thatch, the matted layer of leaves and dead grass that sometimes forms beneath living grass, helping water and nutrients reach the roots. The improved penetration of water and oxygen increases the activities of microorganisms that decompose thatch. For warm season grass, the service is performed after the first mowing in spring, and for cool season grass the service is performed in early autumn.
